Same active molecule, different delivery. Oral is a once-daily pill at a low dose (typically 1.25–5 mg). Topical is a 5% scalp solution or foam applied twice daily. Oral is prescribed off-label for hair growth (its FDA-approved use is hypertension at higher doses).

Men with androgenetic alopecia who prefer a once-daily oral over twice-daily topical, men who have not tolerated topical minoxidil, or men who want to avoid finasteride’s potential side-effect profile.

Hypotension (low blood pressure), peripheral edema (leg swelling), headaches that often improve with time, and hypertrichosis (unwanted body hair growth, more common at doses above 5 mg/day). Your provider will start you at the lowest effective dose.

Most men see early results in 3–6 months. If no visible change at 6 months, discuss with your provider. Stopping reverses gains over time.

Monthly plans are billed and shipped monthly. Quarterly plans are billed and shipped every 3 months. 6-month plans are billed every 6 months and shipped quarterly (2 shipments per billing cycle). Every plan is paid upfront for its term.
